Questions about this book
When will this book be available?
It is planned for publication on Amazon in October 2026. In the meantime you can print free sample puzzles from it on our free printables page.
Which years does it cover?
Mainly the 1950s, 60s and 70s: soda fountains, sock hops, rock and roll radio, classic television, the Space Race, and the fashions and small-town life of those decades.
Who is it for?
Adults and seniors who grew up in, or simply love, the mid-century years. The Memory Lane questions are written to spark stories, so it also works well when shared with family or grandchildren.
Does it mention brand names?
No. To keep it timeless, the puzzles use everyday words and general memories rather than trademarks or brand names.
How big are the letters?
Easy puzzles use 22 point bold capital letters (about 5 mm tall) and Medium and Challenging puzzles use 20 point bold (about 4.7 mm). The word list beside each grid is 16 point bold. Puzzle titles are 22 point. The Did You Know? and Memory Lane lines are 16 point (14 to 15 point on a few crowded pages).
Are the answers included?
Yes. Full solutions for all 90 puzzles are at the back of each book, six per page, with every hidden word shaded. Each puzzle page tells you which page its answer is on.
Can I photocopy pages for my household?
Yes. As our copyright page says, the puzzles are for personal use and photocopying pages for your own household use is welcome. Please do not copy pages for sale or for distribution outside your home.
